DCT, INC. CONTINUES TO GROW SERVICES & TEAM

SAN DIEGO,CA, September 28, 2011: Diversified Construction Technologies, Inc. (DCT) has launched a specialty construction services division; specializing in, but not limited to waterproofing, epoxy systems, concrete restoration, drainage composite systems, and air and vapor barrier systems. With this new division of the company, DCT has been awarded a multi-use commercial and condominium townhome building in City Heights by Price Charities Company, Property Owner and Con Am Management Company. The Project consists of multiple scopes, including extensive roof repairs, structural repairs, walkway repairs, drain repairs, and parking garage repairs for this 142,966 square foot property. Originally the scope of this project was bid out to include repairing the foundation by removing the surrounding sidewalks of the property. DCT suggested another method of repairing the foundation, and hence was awarded the project. By going through the parking garage, and performing the application of pressure injection into the walls surrounding the ground, followed by the application of cementitious waterproofing system over the interior parking garage walls has been able to repair the structural damage.

Choosing this path of repair, versus the original scope to dig around the foundation into the city streets, has saved an enormous amount of money and time for the project. Brent Schofield, Project Manager for DCT, started this project in early December, 2010; due to be completed in early December, 2011. Mike Tiffany, President/CEO of DCT states, “We’re excited to have this division up and running, and fortunate to be put to the test at the City Heights project. The amount of planning and execution performed by Brent and our team has been amazing. ” The company looks forward to providing the new division’s services to both clients and other industry contractors.
